What is Schism??

Schism is a World of Warcraft guild that plays on the Misha Server. We are dedicated to experiencing all that WoW has to offer in a more casual raiding atmosphere. While we are somehwhat relaxed in our recruiting and raiding requirements, we are looking for mature players that understand the raiding aspect of WoW and value efficiency and hardwork in accomplishing our in-game goals. Our core membership is made up of both casual and hardcore players and our goal is to clear all content on a weekly basis.


What are the requirements to join Schism?

There are a few requirements (we do have some standards afterall!!) you must meet in order to become part of our guild.

Age: You must be 18 years or older to be a part of Schism.

Ventrilo: You must be able to be on our vent server for raiding. Members are encouraged to come hang out at all times, but only mandatory for scheduled raids.

Raiding: You must be a skilled player that shows up ready to raid with all needed consumables and knowledge of the fights (with exceptions for new raiders, just contact a raid leader and let them know). Our current plan is to have 2 scheduled raid nights a week. We are a PST (Pacific standard timezone) based guild and our raid times start at 7:00 sharp! We expect our Core members to have 75% attendance to raids or greater.

Attitude: We are looking for members that love playing World of Warcraft and are team players. When not raiding, players are encouraged to help the guild in anyway they can, whether this means putting together 5 man groups, helping others level or donating materials to the guild bank.

Q: What type of loot system does Schism use?
A: Currently we use /100 for 10 man runs. DKP will be implemented once 25 man raiding begins.

Q: What is the background of Schism?
A: Schism was founded in March of '09 by a group of friends that wanted to experience all end game content without having to join a hardcore raiding guild. Schism members are made up from a variety of WoW and MMO gaming backgrounds.
